MICRONEEDLING

Supercharge Your Skin With It's Own Natural Healing Powers

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles, hence the name: Microneedling. It is also commonly referred to as dermarolling, skin needling or collagen induction therapy (CIT).

The procedure involves subjecting the skin to multiple superficial puncture wounds. This causes the skin to release growth factors, which stimulate fibroblasts in the skin. In turn this creates new collagen and elastin, repairing the skin’s surface and giving a smoother, fresher look.

The aim of the procedure is to traumatise the skin without causing permanent damage to the epidermis and healthy tissue. The recovery time for the treatment is rapid, with no residual pain or discomfort.
